The Unexplored frontier

Imagine that there is still a place here on planet Earth with abundant natural resources, a place that we have been overlooking. An unexplored frontier that holds unlimited potential for solving all the complex man-made problems we are facing.
Imagine that there is still a place here on planet Earth with abundant natural resources, a place that we have been overlooking. An unexplored frontier that holds unlimited potential for solving all the complex man-made problems we are facing.

And now imagine that instead of having to go to greater and greater extremes to extract finite natural resources from the earth for energy to keep this whole system running, we were able to tap into something much different.

The Unexplored Frontier is a very simple idea.

It looks at how we can work together to truly bring out the best energy in ourselves and in others, the gold and diamonds that we have tucked away inside, because to play our roles in our highly individualistic industrial society something very different has been asked of us.

The human spirit has creative gifts that come to life when they are cultivated and nurtured. These gifts are connected to a deep desire to serve, a longing to make a difference, a need to have an impact on the world and make it better.

Imagine what could happen if enough of us focused our livelihoods and projects on consistently unleashing this kind of creative healing energy in ourselves and in others, wherever we are, with the gifts that we have.

Could the creative solutions we so desperately need be found inside each of us? Imagine them as fragments that can be glued back together to form an invisible web. A web that nurtures our spirits as we come up with answers to the question: Who’s caring for the Commons? What is the thing you uniquely feel called to care for, to make whole again?

Trying to answer this question can help us find our piece of the narrative in a new collective story. We can create more and more livelihoods focused on healing people and the planet.

What if we thought of our human energy as the most underused source of energy we have available right now on the planet: our individual human potential and our ability to cooperate and collaborate?
